The king of the Sony Ericsson's announcements on 10th February at Mobile World Congress is a new High-End and Sony Ericsson's first smartphone on Windows Mobile Operating System, XPERIA branded handset - Sony Ericsson X1.


We've been waiting for something really, really good and we can say that we got it. With the launch of XPERIA a new era has been come into mobile communications. This brand name promises only High-End and only ultra class mobile devices and the first of it already has been announced and it's named - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1.

Sony Ericsson X1 combines a 3 inch clear wide VGA display and a full QWERTY keyboard within a quality metal-finish body. With Windows Mobile inside, the XPERIA X1 lets you choose from a dynamic range of activities at anytime and anywhere; from enjoying your favorite entertainment content to working efficiently on-the-move.

With the huge 3 inch Wide VGA touch screen at 800 X 480 pixel resolution, aGPS navigation, WiFi, Windows Mobile Operating System and with arc slider housing - designed to address the growing need for a premium, converged mobile experience. X1 is also equipped with a 3.0 MP camera with auto focus and built-in memory is up to 400MB, The dimensions of the arc slider housing is 110 x 53 x 16.7 mm and weight is 145 grams.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 is intended to work in GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 - UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA 900/1700/1900/2100 MHz - UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA 850/1700/1900/2100 MHz networks.
