Sony Ericsson has launched its first HSPA 7.2/2.0 devices - EC400 and EC400g.

The form-factor of the EC400 and EC400g is ExpressCard/34, which means you can stick it in your LapTop's ExpressCard slot and use the Internet on the go by enabling instant Internet access, regardless of your location.

The EC400 and EC400g allow up to 7.2MB/s in download and 2.0MB/s in upload speed. Differences between EC400 and EC400g is GPS module, EC400g in addition is equipped with an built-in GPS receiver, which automatically shows the user's current location on Google Maps (Or a similar service).

The EC400 and EC400g are HSPA/UMTS, Tri-band 850/1900/2100 MHz, EDGE/GPRS, Quad-Band 850/900/1800/1900 MHz ExpressCards that will be available globally by mid 2008.
